Welcome to the Small Library Management Training Program (SLM) online training module for Professionalism. This is part of the larger SLM program coordinated by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
This online module is designed to be a preliminary introduction to SLM subject matter, as well as an introduction to web-based instruction. Complete it at your own pace, but be sure to complete thesection with a grade of 70 or higher in order to receive two hours of continuing education credit! You will receive two hours of continuing education credit or SBEC Continuing Education credit for school librarians (SBEC provider identification #500799) for completing this training module. In order to complete the module, complete the following steps:
1) Read through all resources in each lesson.
2) Complete the final quiz in the Virtual Tours section with a final grade of 70 or higher. (Please note that you must be enrolled in this course in order to complete the assignments; to enroll in the course, click on 'Enroll me in this course' on the left-hand side of the page).
3) Complete the course evaluation survey in the completion certificate and course evaluation survey section.
4) Print or save the completion certificate by clicking the link in the last section.
